Britney and I arrived at the beautiful Excellence resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic today!  We left out of Birmingham, flew to Charlotte, then directly to the Punta Cana airport, which literally looks like a giant hut with some Big Ass Fans.  After about an hour of being stuffed liked sardines in a minivan, we arrived.  The ride wasn’t so bad, but the Dominican scenery along the way was pretty grim.  The resort, however, is absolutely breathtaking.

We were greeted with champagne, dropped off our things in the room, and headed out to explore the massive vacation spot.  We only made it as far as the first tiki bar before we met two other couples and started pounding margaritas.  That’s about all we remember from our arrival ;)
